Dr. Joseph Boateng Agyenim holds a PhD in Water
Resource Management with experience
in agricultural, rural and social development. He
has worked as a socioeconomic consultant for Environmental Resources Management
(ERM) Ltd, (UK& USA), Clark Sustainable Resource Developments Ltd. (CSRD),
Canada; SGS Environment (Ghana); Golder Associates, as a consultant for
Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), Ghana; CARE Ghana in evaluating
Community Action Planning Approaches in Agriculture and Food Security
Programmes; for UNICEF as an Education consultant; Advance Ghana; GTZ (Ghana);
ILO; and the World Vision International.
Dr. Boateng Agyenim has built a distinguished research and academic career at the University of Cape Coast, demonstrating consistent growth and contribution in the field of development studies. From 2018 to 2024, he served as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Integrated Development Studies, following an earlier appointment as Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Development Studies from 2013 to 2018. Prior to these roles, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Development Studies between 2001 and 2013, after beginning his career as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Centre for Development Studies from 1999 to 2000.
